The library's main purpose is to help developers create 3D trackballs in the browser via CSS 3 and it's new 3D features.

Traqbal.js is also maintenance free, because it already renders the code with all the proper browser vendor prefixes, even if most of them don't support those features yet.

This means that as soon as the CSS 3D Transforms module will be implemented in a browser, the trackball will work as normally, without the developer being forced to change the code.
